This time I ordered the seasoned pork neck barbecue from Gijeolchopung Okdol Barbecue.

First of all, the meat was the epitome of “crispy outside, tender inside.” The exterior carried a savory-sweet seasoning that made it flavorful, while the interior was tender, so the two textures and tastes combined very well. Especially the geotjeori that came with the delivery was a masterstroke. The geotjeori cleanly cut through the greasiness that can come from seasoned barbecue, letting me enjoy it without getting tired of it until the end.

The mustard sauce provided wasn’t bad, but personally I found the combination with the geotjeori far more satisfying than the mustard. Thanks to that, I was able to finish a very hearty and pleasant meal.
