Jogaeui Jeonseol is a restaurant specializing in shellfish dishes located near Balsan Station in Seoul.

We ordered the small shellfish hot pot, and the generous portion and fresh shellfish were impressive. A variety of shellfish were packed in, so it was fun to pick and eat, and above all the broth was refreshing and deep, making it a great accompaniment to drinks. The umami from the shellfish came through strongly, allowing us to enjoy it deliciously until the end.

In particular, finishing the hot pot by adding water to the stock and cooking kalguksu was truly satisfying. The kalguksu blended well with the broth that had absorbed the shellfish's deep flavor, allowing for a hearty finish to the meal; personally, I highly recommend trying this combination.

The interior was moderately spacious and generally kept clean, so we could enjoy our meal in a pleasant atmosphere. However, perhaps because we visited on a weekday evening, only one staff member was on duty, so responses to orders or additional requests were a bit slow, which was somewhat disappointing. Nevertheless, the service itself was reasonably friendly, so it wasn't a major inconvenience.

Overall, it was a place where the fresh shellfish, generous portions, and refreshing, deep broth were satisfying. In particular, the high quality of the finishing kalguksu made it more memorable, and if you're looking for a hearty shellfish hot pot or a refreshing broth dish near Balsan Station, I recommend giving it a visit.
