This time I visited Baeksojeong Gangnam Station. I sat down and ordered the signature dish, the sirloin katsu.
As soon as the food arrived, the clean tableware design caught my eye. In particular, the half-moon-shaped wooden tray holding the tableware added a neat yet stylish atmosphere, making me feel well looked after.
The main dish, the sirloin katsu, had a crispy exterior while the meat inside was tender, giving it an excellent bite. The meat wasn't dry and was very tender, so it went down smoothly, and the balance between the juices and the crunchy batter was superb.
When the katsu started to feel a bit greasy or heavy midway through the meal, pairing it with the udon broth that came with it refreshed and cleansed the palate. The components harmonized so well that I enjoyed a very satisfying meal down to the last bite.
