Jakga is a bar located near Hongdae Sangsangmadang in Seoul.

I've been a regular for a long time, but on my recent visit I felt it wasn't the kind of place that leaves you feeling as good as it used to.

The side dishes were generally tasty and of acceptable quality, but several items arrived slightly cold, which was disappointing. I even ordered two dishes on purpose to check, and both were in a similar state.

Service and staff friendliness were never particularly great, but this time the staff didn't come when I pressed the call button, and their responses felt curt when I asked questions. It was busy, but it didn't seem extremely busy, so I felt that being busy and being unfriendly are separate issues.

Now it's more a place I'd consider only when other bars are full and waiting is a burden. It wasn't like this before, and overall I was disappointed because the atmosphere and operation of the place felt different from before.
