Hello, this is Cafe Haegat located near Hwaseong/Jebudo.

A rainy, gloomy stretch has cleared up into a bright, sunny Sunday.

Until yesterday it was rainy and overcast, so if you enjoyed a cup of coffee among plants in a quiet space then, today the clear weather continues. It’s too hot for an outing, but it seems just right for enjoying a cool space.

I heard that some people saw the sunset yesterday when the weather cleared a bit, and today I also felt a strong desire to see the sunset and the sea, so I came to Cafe Haegat.

I visited not long after it opened, and even after several years, when I visit now there is no change from my first visit, so I keep feeling comfortable without any sense of awkwardness.

From this high spot, the view of the sea and the surrounding houses makes it great to sit and look around; on a clear day like today it’s even better.

With a drive along the seaside and coffee on a clear day, it feels like you can go anywhere.
