Izakaya Kanae is located near Exit 8 of Yaksu Station in Seoul.

Overall, the quality of the bar snacks/small plates is quite high, and I felt satisfied no matter which dish I ordered. Not only are the dishes well-executed, but the owner was also very friendly, so I was able to enjoy my meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The interior is charming and warm, giving the impression that it's a nice place to quietly enjoy a drink.

The seating is mainly counter seats, which enhances the typical izakaya atmosphere, and there are also tables available for group use, so it seems suitable for small gatherings or company dinners.

However, since the owner runs the place alone, food can be somewhat slow to arrive during busy times. While satisfaction with the food and service is high, it's best to visit with some time to spare during peak hours.
