First and most importantly, I was surprised that the sole wasn't as hard as I expected and was actually quite cushioned. Sizes are available in 10-unit increments, so if you prefer the 'tight-lace' style of pulling the laces very snug, you might want to go up one size. A major advantage is that the standard laces are made of a stretchy elastic material, which makes putting them on and taking them off very convenient.

I was also very satisfied with the design. The outsole is slightly ivory-colored, so even if it gets a bit dirty it doesn't show much, making it easy to maintain. I also liked that the tongue (vero) is connected to the shoe body so it doesn't twist while wearing. If you're considering canvas shoes, I recommend referring to my review when making your purchase.
