Jokbalminam is a franchise specializing in jokbal and bossam! I heard their lunch menu was decent, so I visited Jokbalminam Magok!

I ordered the Jokbal Set Meal (11,000 KRW per person, can be changed to spicy jokbal) and Perilla Oil Makguksu (8,000 KRW).

First, I really liked that the basic side dishes had lots of vegetables, and the bean sprout soup and steamed rice were available as unlimited refills, so you won't run out of rice! The jokbal was very tasty, but the portion felt a bit small for a large adult male given the price... The makguksu we ordered as a side was also reasonably good.

However, a downside was the cramped interior and the tight spacing between tables, so it was a bit uncomfortable, and I could hear the owner scolding the staff very clearly, which made me feel a little self-conscious while eating...

Overall, it's probably good for popping in occasionally at lunch to grab a meal!
