The moment I took a sip of the broth, the rich, well-extracted flavor was immediately noticeable, and with nurungji (scorched rice) in it, the toasty nuttiness lingers until the end.

The chicken wasn't dry and shredded tenderly, making it easy to eat, and it left me feeling comfortably settled in my stomach!

Overall it's not strong or heavy but clean-tasting, so it was the perfect restorative meal.

However, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't very hot.
