I visited Gamachi Tongdak and ordered Wingbong Fried Chicken, tteokbokki, and a salad. The chicken's coating was the right thickness so it was crispy on the outside, and the meaty, tender thigh meat combined with the savory wings was outstanding.

In particular, the tteokbokki's rice cakes were very chewy with excellent texture, and the sauce wasn't overly spicy or sweet, making it perfect to eat with the chicken. With a nostalgic, old-style salad on the side, the overall balance was perfect, making it an ideal accompaniment for soju.

All the dishes were harmonious, making for a very satisfying meal.
