The bar I visited this time is Hachi Bandalseom. Among the many menu items, I ordered the pork and bean sprout stir-fry, and it was truly an excellent choice.
First, the meat was thinly sliced, so it didn’t feel tough in the mouth and had a wonderfully tender texture. With the crisp bean sprouts added, the bite was really satisfying. The sauce was especially impressive — it was moderately spicy enough that even someone like me who can’t handle very spicy food could enjoy it pleasantly, and the more I ate, the more the umami whetted my appetite.
There was plenty of sauce and the seasoning was just right, so by the end I wanted to mix it with a bowl of rice; the sauce was superb. It was a perfectly matched snack to accompany drinks, and I enjoyed a very satisfying meal.
