Sinui Hanguksu is a Korean snack franchise centered on noodles!
I occasionally visit Sinui Hanguksu Magok, but this time I was so shocked that I probably won't go back.

Before I even get to the menu, the table was so sticky as soon as I sat down that I thought someone had spilled broth and not wiped it properly, so I wiped the table with a wet wipe. The wipe turned really black from the grime and completely ruined my appetite. I wiped it twice and dirt kept coming off.... There were four of us, and it wasn't just my side — the whole table was extremely dirty. If it were a corner table I might understand, but this was the first table; if this is the state of a front table, imagine how dirty the corner tables must be…?

Even if they serve food on trays, isn't wiping tables at closing basic? This looked like it hadn't been cleaned for days. It was unbelievably filthy, and one of my friends is a big fan of their noodles and used to come often, but they said they won't come anymore because it was that bad. It completely killed our appetite.

There are also problems with the menu, which seem to be a corporate issue rather than just this branch. I ordered the new bibimbap series: Tuna Bibimbap (8,000원) and Tteokgalbi as a side (5,500원). Okay, 8,000원 could mean small portions, but basic bibimbap and the charcoal grilled bibimbap come with a fried egg, so I don't understand why Tuna Bibimbap doesn't include a default fried egg. The gochujang sauce container was seriously sticky, so I questioned their hygiene management. The Tteokgalbi at 5,500원 was a total value destroyer — absolutely not recommended.

Also, they launched two new gimbap varieties, so my group tried the Spicy Mayo Gimbap and Chipotle Mayo Gimbap, but they were unbelievably sloppy — basically wrecked. They just gave sauces like Gobling and Marbling (the kind that comes with some fried chicken) and told us to dip the gimbap into them. If that's the case, sell the sauces separately; who would think this is worth 1,000원 more than a regular gimbap? The taste was bad too — I don't know how they thought those sauces would go with gimbap. In the end, all four of us were shocked by the hygiene and the lack of care in the menu, couldn't eat properly, and left.

Overall: I won't go again.
