When the weather is cold, I make sure to visit Sundae Sillok at least once a week!

I usually order the Traditional Sundae Soup (10,000 won) every time I go, and it’s always delicious. The portions are generous, there’s no off‑flavor, and the broth is clean — really tasty (perfect for sobering up after drinking the night before). The bowl for the rice is a bit small though, so the rice feels a little lacking; when I’m very hungry I sometimes add one extra bowl of rice and share it with my companions. There’s also a Spicy Traditional Sundae Soup (11,000 won), which I recommend if you like spicy food. Side dishes are kkakdugi, raw onion with ssamjang, and seasoned chives, but I’m a bit disappointed they never serve napa cabbage kimchi.....

Lately I’ve sometimes added side dishes. I tried the Kimchi Buckwheat Pancake Roll (8,000 won) and the King Dumplings (5 pcs, 8,000 won). The kimchi buckwheat pancake roll is generous and tasty, but the king dumplings were somewhat disappointing in both taste and price (Bibigo is better). If you’re getting a side, I recommend the kimchi buckwheat pancake roll!

In conclusion, it was good before, but the more I eat here the more I find there’s no other sundae soup place in the area that matches it. If you live nearby and like sundae soup, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
