This is a review of Makita's demolition hammer 'HM0810T'. I used it for demolition work to create recessed floor wiring.

First, being a corded model, it definitely felt more powerful than cordless drills. When replacing the front tip (bit), the one-touch hex shank system makes changes very convenient. Thanks to that, switching between different types of tips was hassle-free, and they stayed firmly secured during use.

Also, if you buy and attach the optional side handle accessory, you can hold the body securely from the side, which should further improve work efficiency.

Chisel (nomi) maintenance: Apply a small amount of dedicated grease to the hex shank before work to prevent wear on the shank hole and improve impact efficiency.

Avoid idling: Refrain from operating the tool until the bit is exactly positioned at the impact point. It can put strain on the machine.

Carbon brush check: As a corded product, if you feel the power has weakened, check the carbon brushes to determine when they should be replaced.

Safety gear required: During floor demolition many fragments fly, so wearing safety glasses, a dust mask, and ear protection is essential.
