This is Deo Poreseuteu Kwin in Hwaseong.

When I go to my parents' house, I always like to do a café tour around the area. While looking around I discovered a unique café. From photos alone it felt a bit odd, so I kept postponing, but I finally visited today.

Seeing it in person, I realized again that rather than feeling odd, the café's unique atmosphere wasn't bad.

It's divided into two buildings, a hanok building and a European-style building, so walking between them feels somewhat like a stroll and it's nice for looking around. The European building is not open on weekends and is left for viewing only from the outside. It's good to keep that in mind if you visit on a weekend.

Both the hanok building and the European building felt spacious, so I thought it was indeed a large café. If you're driving around Hwaseong, why not stop by Deo Poreseuteu Kwin?
