I received this lip balm as a gift, and it has a slightly tingly/hot sensation and a fairly strong scent! At first I didn’t reach for it much, but after using it a few times I found the staying power is good, so now I mainly use it before bed.
At first I thought it wouldn’t melt well, but if you rub it lightly it melts better. I’ve been using Burt's Bees grapefruit lip balm for years, but lately even when I apply that my lips get dry, so not only before bed but also on days when I don’t wear lip makeup I use this. It definitely lasts longer than stick types like Burt's Bees.
