I really enjoyed it. It has a black comedy vibe, but from my perspective it wasn't the kind of film that leaves you with big things to ponder, so afterwards I didn't really have much to say... As soon as I wrote that,
thoughts I had while watching the movie came back to me.
- Politically, it felt like if either side goes to extremes it ultimately harms ordinary people just living their lives, and I wondered if the film was criticizing that. (This is a very personal impression and may stem from my own tendencies — I honestly don't know if that was the director's intention.)
- Actually, it might be better enjoyed simply as an action film with incredible performances and a driving pace, with a bit of comedy mixed in.
Also, I liked that I got to discover two extremely charming actresses — Teyana Taylor and Chase Infinity.
