I visited this place on my family's recommendation! It was my first time, so I didn't know which menu items were popular.

It's located in the basement of the Rosedale Building, and since it's tucked inside the building, first-time visitors might find it a bit hard to locate.🤔

I went during weekend lunchtime and there were more customers than I expected. The place filled up quickly, but fortunately the food came out in about 10 minutes, so we didn't wait long.😉

I ordered the Yukhoe Bibimbap!
The price was ₩13,000, and I paid by card at the table.

The bibimbap came with a soup, and I personally loved that combination. A light, clear broth similar to radish soup came with it, which balanced the potentially rich bibimbap so I could enjoy it until the end.☺️

And the yukhoe was truly satisfying.
The first bite made me say, “Wow, this is delicious! haha.” The meat was fresh and pleasantly chewy, with almost no fishy taste and not tough. Even on a weekend lunchtime, the taste made it easy to understand why so many people were there!

That said, there were some downsides.

The biggest drawback is that the restaurant is quite small… The tables are so close that you might bump into the person next to or behind you when sitting down or standing up. It's very cramped and uncomfortable…
If you're seated too far inside, going to the restroom will be inconvenient (and the restroom isn't in great condition, just so you know).

Also, the crowd tended to be relatively older, so during meal times conversations were fairly loud… we could hardly hear the person sitting across from us. Of course it may vary by visit time, but I felt the place has a generally bustling atmosphere… kind of like being inside a market alley.

So personally, I'd definitely recommend it if you want to try the food, but it might be disappointing for those who want a quiet place to talk or to spend a long meal. 😢

If it were me, I'd go to eat alone or with family for a hearty meal rather than to enjoy the atmosphere with friends.
