AJ Hotel near Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung!

To be honest, it's more like a motel than a hotel, but I stayed there during my trip to Gangneung!

I booked a twin bedroom (1 queen, 1 super single). As soon as I entered, I was a bit disappointed that the room was smaller than in the photos (though it wasn't terribly inconvenient). The view was also disappointing — it's a city view and the building across is very close, so you can see into each other's rooms. Above all, the bathroom cleaning was lacking, the water pressure was weak, the hot water was hard to adjust, and the drainage was poor, which left me disappointed. Apart from that, the room interior was clean, the air conditioner worked well, it's a five-minute walk to the beach, and there's a GS25 convenience store on the first floor, so overall it wasn't bad, but considering the price I wasn't that satisfied...

Overall, it's an okay place to stay for a few days, but I wasn't very satisfied.
