I tried Lotteria's new menu item 'Ria Thick Shrimp'!

The price was 13,300 won for a set with the fries size-up.

To start with the conclusion, it wasn't bad!

As the name suggests, it's a shrimp burger, but the shrimp patty felt much thicker than the regular shrimp burger! So when I took a bite, the shrimp had a nice crunchy chew. I usually like Lotteria's shrimp burger, so I enjoyed it.🥹

But after about three bites, I suddenly thought, "Hmm... do I really need to eat the shrimp burger this big?" 🤔

It's not that it's bad at all, but compared to the regular shrimp burger I didn't feel a strong "wow, you must try this!" difference...

This might be because the regular Lotteria shrimp burger is already quite polished, and I'm the type who's satisfied with the regular shrimp burger set as usual. :(

Also, because the patty is bigger, it started to feel a bit heavy as I ate. I took a short break and eventually finished it, and it did fill me up so it was enough for a meal.

For the record, I chose the original, but there seemed to be a spicy option...? I kind of wish it had been seasoned like chili shrimp — I was a bit disappointed.

If you ask whether I'd repurchase it... it's a bit ambiguous.🥲

It's a menu worth trying once out of curiosity, but next time I go to Lotteria I'd probably order the regular shrimp burger set instead of this. (Kind of feels iffy to buy with my own money..)

- Those who want to try something different once (but it's a familiar taste)
- People who already like Lotteria's shrimp burger
- Those who want to enjoy a thicker shrimp patty

Personally, I'm glad they keep releasing new menu items☺️
