There used to be a taco place I visited often near Gangnam Station, but it closed a few months ago, so I found and visited this new spot.😭

Since I planned to go on a weekend lunch, I checked whether reservations were possible beforehand, and they said groups of four or fewer can often be seated without waiting, so we decided to give it a try.

The location was easier to find than I expected! If you see a Starbucks, go up the stairs right next to it to the second floor.

The first thing I thought when I walked in was, “Wow, it’s much bigger than I expected!😲”

The overall vibe was retro, and there were various seating options from two-person tables to four-person and group tables, so couples, friends, and families were all visiting.

There were three of us, so we sat at a four-person table.

One fun thing was that serving robots were roaming around haha. They kept moving around the restaurant, which was fascinating. Of course, a staff member personally brought our food!

We ordered the 2-person set (Nakwon Fajita + Chicken Salad) and added the Nakwon Fries Pasta, and the total came to ₩89,700.

Honestly, the price was a bit on the high side^^;

Overall, the food was satisfactorily decent.

If you’ve been to a taco place even once, these flavors will feel familiar. It wasn’t extraordinarily or shockingly delicious, but it covered the basics well enough that I was satisfied.😋

The chicken salad was fine, and the Nakwon Fries Pasta we added was spicier than I expected. I especially enjoyed the fries haha.

The service was also satisfying!

Since it was our first time there and we weren’t sure how to order, we asked a staff member, and they kindly recommended a set menu.

I actually couldn’t eat much that day due to health reasons, but I thought I’d like to come back when I’m feeling better and try more properly next time 🥲

One downside is that it’s really crowded.

Because the space is large, there are a lot of customers, so it felt quite busy overall… it was hard to hear conversations. There are no partitions between tables, so it’s so open that we could have lent our water jug to the next table when we ran out ^^

If you like a lively atmosphere, it’s fine, but if you want a quiet meal or conversation, it may feel a bit noisy.

The prices also make it a bit of a splurge to visit often, so I think it’s a good place to go on special occasions or when you’re craving it.
