Hello, this is Geurigo Cafe in Yeongheungdo.

It's a Wednesday with the sun hidden behind clouds.

Today I suddenly found myself thinking a lot about the sea, but because weekends and holiday afternoons are crowded I hesitated to go out. I decided I had to see the sea today, so I came to Yeongheungdo, a place I often visit.

I've been to many cafes on Yeongheungdo and thought I'd seen most of them, but there still seem to be places I haven't been to or separate popular spots. The place I visited today was one I hadn't had a chance to explore before.

Of course this is a facility that also offers lodging, which I reviewed before, but this time it was great that other floors were freely accessible. The owner saw me taking photos and gladly gave permission, and even told me to take a look around the 4th floor before the pool reservation, which was really nice.

The cafe occupies the 1st, 2nd, and 4th floors. Besides the pool, there are spaces where you can enjoy coffee, so don't worry haha.
I used to think cafes attached to lodging were small and couldn't accommodate many people, but after visiting here my view changed. The 1st and 2nd floors can accommodate a sufficient number of people, and although the outdoor area on the 4th floor isn't very large, there seem to be enough seats.

Along with Kosed, Geurigo Cafe is also a nice place to visit. The small selection of desserts looked good, and the coffee had a pleasantly nutty flavor, so I felt the drive was worthwhile.
